Hi,
My sister bought this notebook in 2011. Now I organise a modernisation of it and I would like to insert SSD disc and use a high speed of it with AHCI controler. Is it possible in this computer? I haven't found such option in BIOS.

Absolutely you can. Just replace the hard drive with a 2.5 inch SATA SSD. It is an easy task...see p. 4-8 of the Service Manual here. The storage controller of the laptop is set to AHCI by default and cannot be changed. Windows 7 or later will recognize the disk as an SSD and will make all the necessary adjustments. You do not need to do anything with the BIOS. Just install the drive and load your OS onto it as if it were a hard drive. I am sure you are aware the laptop can also be expanded to 8 gigs RAM...DDR3-1333 SO-DIMM. 8 gigs of RAM and an SSD ought to make it useable for everyday computing.
