Hello.

I have: notebook HP Pavillion dv2700

model: dv2834ca

s / n: [Personal Information Removed]

p / n: KP039UA # ABC

I want to put the maximum amount of memory.

I did not find this information on HP's website or on the internet.

Could someone help me with the information on what the maximum amount of memory I can put in this notebook and what memories (frequency)?

Hi:

The maximum amount of memory you can install in your notebook is 2 x 2 GB of PC2-5300 or 6400 memory.

The memory will only run at 667 MHz which is the limit of the chipset your notebook has.

In other words, PC2-6400 memory is only going to run at the PC2-5300 speed (667 MHz).
