I want to add memory to my system. Haven't been able to find correct information concerning number of slots. One place says 1 slot of 8 GB and another says 2 slots, with one slot hidden under motherboard.  I just want a straight answer without the usual dance around from HP..

Hi:

Your particular model since it has an Intel® Pentium® N3700 processor, has one memory slot, and the max memory the slot can support is an 8 GB DDR3L-1600 memory chip.
