HP Laptop 15 - FD1180TU
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi All.

I've managed to narrow down my laptop search to HP Laptop 15 - fd1180TU which out of the box comes with 8gb memory and I'm struggling to find anywhere if that is upgradeable or soldered into the motherboard. Even Crucial doesn't have the model in their system (closest I could find was fd1097TU) and it's a DDR5-5600 1x 8gb. Does anyone know if I can replace that with at least 16 or preferably 32gig or if there is an additional slot to add another 8gig?

Thanks in advance.

Abhinav

@AbhinavS27,

Your model comes with an Intel Core Ultra 5 125H processor.

According to HP specs for 15-fd1000 series, your model supports 32 GB (2x16 GB) DDR5 5600 memory.

HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-fd1000 series specifications | HP® Support

You can remove the 8 GB RAM and install 2-16 GB DDR5 5600 modules.
