 Hi,

The manual details the maximum supported are 8 GB (2x4 or 1x8) but with modules Crucial certificates might get 16 GB (2x8) with  Windows 64 bits

Hi,

Very confusion

2 SODIMM slots
DDR3L-1600MHz
Support for DDR3L-1600MHz
Support for dual channel
Supports up to 8096-MB maximum on-board system memory

Sounds like it has 1 slot, other slot is on-board. Your machine now has 4GB on-board and 2GB removable (total 6GB)

If you wish to try (after warranty period), please use the first manual on the following link to find out:

Regards.
