I have an HP laptop that was purchased from QVC with 4GB memory\ and Windows 11 Home v24H2

Product ID (etched on back of case) 3G417UA#ABA

Product ID (from Settings/About) 00325-82035-14968-AAOEM

 

I would like to upgrade memory to either 6GB or 8GB.

Will this device accept that upgrade?

What is the best way to accomplish this?

@King1101,

 

Your model with an Intel Celeron processor has a single memory slot which supports max 8 GB DDR4-2133 memory. You can replace the current 4 GB with an 8 GB RAM stick.

 

DDR4-2133 memory is hard to find. You can use 8 GB DDR4-2400 memory like this one.

Crucial 8GB, 260-pin SODIMM, DDR4 PC4-19200, at Amazon.com

 

Your service manual shows how to replace the memory on pages 31-32.
