Product: Hp G72 Notebook
I want to upgrade from 4gb of ram to 8. I am just not sure exactly what type to buy that fits and is best for my laptop. Any suggestions please?

It is hard to say.

 

I think there is a mistake in the manual???

 

It says "Supports up to 8 GB of system memory"

 

This is what is not  clear.

 

4096 MB (2048 MB × 2)

 

3072 MB (1024 MB × 1 + 2048 MB × 1)

 

2048 MB (2048 MB × 1)

 

2048 MB (1024 MB × 2)

 

1024 MB (1024 MB × 1)
