By default it has 16GB of 3200MHz dual channel DDR4 sodimm in it.
Product specification does not specify the max memory, only the default, so what's the max?
Can I put 64GB (2x32GB) of 3200MHz dual channel DDR4 soddim in it? I found a got a good deal on those.
Or maybe 32GB (2x16GB) of 3200MHz dual channel DDR4 soddim? I've got a good deal on those too.
16GB used to be plenty to run a fully installed Ubuntu with all the programs I use entirely from memory with Volatizer. Now it's not enough... 😉

Hi:
Officially, according to chapter 1 of the service manual the notebook supports 2 x 8 GB of DDR4-3200 memory.
Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)
The Crucial memory report for the model series indicates that it will support 2 x 16 GB of DDR4-3200 memory.
HP - Compaq HP 14-ec0000 | Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | Crucial.com
It is highly unlikely that the notebook will support 2 x 32 GB of memory.
