Hi everybody !!!

With the last update of Alcor microcard reader my notebook stopped from recognizing the microcard itself.

First of all, this is a consequence of an upadte from Windows 11 with automatic updates turned on.

The update of Alcor microcard I did it by HP Support Assistant . I ' ve tried to roll back the entire updates with no results .

The device manager lists the microcard reader as a Realtek card reader . I also update this driver again with  no results.

The symptoms are that when I try to read a card it connects and disconnects appearing and disappearing from Windows explorer... Is there a solution for this issue ?

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Hello Sandytechy20 :

I will not accept this as a solution to my issue because ir costs 99.99 U$S and the isuue with the computer started in the update that happened three days before my warranty expired..... I  consider that this is not fair... tell me how to proceed , please ( I won`t pay for an isuue that was generated for a bad update with the HP Support Assistant Software )
