HP Recommended

I have a 5 year old hp laptop (15g-dr0xxx, 8GB RAM, 1TB memory, battery has been changed twice now to Hp compatible battery) that includes Microsoft Office (Home & Student). Now, all of a sudden, my excel app is lost? It is no more there in 'all apps', I cannot even make a new excel sheet from desktop. I have the other MS apps but I have no clue how this happened. If I go to microsoft store, I'll have to buy MS Office separately, but I don't want to do that when my laptop technically comes built in with MS Office.
