HP Recommended

I'm looking to buy Model B97RFUA#ABA.  it has 16gb ram installed.  How much can be added total?  what is the limit of RAM I can add?  thnks

The parts list indicates that the notebook comes with 8 GB memory chips to get the 16 GB total.

 

HP PartSurfer

 

The service manual indicates that 2 x 8 GB is the max.

 

There is no service manual for that model series.

 

HP only has the manual for the original 17-cp0xxx model series.

 

Chapter 1 indicates 2 x 8 GB is the max.

 

Maintenance and Service Guide

 

This memory company indicates the notebook can support up to 2 x 16 GB of DDR4-3200 MHz memory.
