Spectre X360

Add me to the list of HP Spectre users that have had the motherboard burn up.  I'm beyond warranty, but  would think this might have been a recalled motherboard issue?

This is the second time I have had to return this for repair.  The first time because it was running very hot and now the motherboard needs replacing 3 months out of warranty.   I beleive both are related.  Clea everything I have read on this KNOWN issue should prompt HP to do the right thing and recall these.

The only reason I am even bothering to get this lemon fixed is to retrieve data off the hard drive.  Does anyone have suggestions for how to retrieve the data on a dead Spectre?

@Terry81

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
