How do I find out how much RAM my CTL51/53 LA-E841P add-on board supports? Now there is already one bar for 8 GB 2400 MHz, there is another free slot, how much more can be added?

The maximum RAM your laptop carries should be 16GB.

Since your laptop has an extra slot and you already have one slot which has 8GB RAM, this means that you can decide to add an additional 8GB RAM on the extra slot making it 16GB.

You can find out more about your product specifications here for your own research purposes.
