I can't find any specs on your notebook.
I did find the specs on the model sold in France.
HP Notebook - 17-p119nf (ENERGY STAR) Product Specifications | HP® Support
If your notebook has an AMD Quad-Core A6-6310 APU, it has two memory slots and can support up to 2 x 4 GB of DDR3L-1600 CL11 memory.
I'm kind of surprised the notebook doesn't support 2 x 8 GB of DDR3L-1600 CL11 memory.
Below is the link to the service manual:
Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade info:
NB_MSG_Caramel_1.1_Win10_811417-003
If you want to see if the notebook may be able to support 2 x 8 GB of memory, run this command:
1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.
This will open the command prompt.
2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and press the enter key.
There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.
The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.
