Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I went to go get my computer fix because I couldn't calibrate my battery because my adapter would only charge my laptop when it was turned off and wouldn't register I had a adapter plugged in wheb I turned on. They told me my motherboard need to be fixed. I honestly don't know how to get it fixed having a hard time contacting HP.

They told you wrong -- you can't get a motherboard fixed; you have to get it totally replaced.  And with an HP PC, that is likely to cost you more than simply replacing the laptop.
