Hi @Ax22,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
I know how frustrating it is when both the touchpad and Wi-Fi stop working on your HP PC. Let’s fix this step by step:
Fixing the Mouse Pad (Touchpad)
✅ Try These First:
- Enable the Touchpad:
- Press Fn + F6, F7, or F9 (varies by model) — look for a touchpad icon on the function keys.
- Or go to Settings > Devices > Touchpad and make sure it’s turned ON.
- Check Device Manager:
- Press Windows + X → Select Device Manager.
- Expand Mice and other pointing devices.
- Right-click your touchpad → Enable device (if disabled).
- If it’s missing, click Action > Scan for hardware changes.
- Update Touchpad Driver:
- In Device Manager, right-click the touchpad → Update driver → Search automatically.
Fixing the Wi-Fi Connection
✅ Try These Steps:
- Turn Wi-Fi On:
- Press Fn + F12 (or the key with a wireless icon).
- Or go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi and toggle it ON.
- Run Network Troubleshooter:
- Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
- Run the Internet Connections troubleshooter.
- Reset Network Settings:
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced network settings > Network reset.
- Click Reset now (this will restart your PC).
- Check Device Manager:
- Expand Network adapters.
- Right-click your Wi-Fi adapter → Enable or Update driver.
I hope this helps.
Take care, and have an amazing day!
