Hello.
Go to HP Partsurfer website and type your laptop serial number in the search box. The search result should show your laptop and the components it was configured with.
If the results do not list keyboard model, the page will also show all available spare parts. Just narrow down to the correct language keyboard with or without touchstick and/or backlight. Your keyboard backlight (if it exists) may be turned off and can be enabled with Fn+F3 combination IF the F3 key has the backlight icon. Touchstick is there in the middle of G/H/B keys (in US keyboard), and was probably implemented in all 840 G3's, can't remember.
