I am having a problem with my laptop that freezes and is extremely slow as well as now I have a problem with the power adapter not charging my laptop while I am using it. it will only power my laptop when I shutdown then it will take charge this has occured since I did the latest updates. 

Its freaking me out as I need to obviously do alot of work and cant keep shutting down to charge my laptop and then wait an age for it to start up again, because it freezes.

CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME
