My HP Laptop Screen completely broke off

HP Recommended
HP Notebook - 17-by0016cy
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I purchased 2 of the same HP laptops Dec. 2019.  They are the worst laptops I ever had in my life.  I paid $2,000 Dec. 2019 for these laptops and they are totally useless.

The hinges on my laptop completely broke off a couple of weeks ago and the screen separated from the body.  I brought it in for repair and was told it's not worth repairing, all the plastic around the hinge bolts was shattered and the battery had 3 bubbles in it and were likely to leak.  They were able to extract my data for a total cost of $275.00.

Both of these laptops have AMD A9-9425 RADEON R5, 5 COMPUTE CORES 2C+3G 3.10 GHz processors.  At first my broken laptop ran great, but my wife's always ran slow.  In any case I am using my wife's HP since mine is useless and came to find out the processor in this laptop is not support for a Windows 11 upgrade.

Not for nothing, but after my experience with these 2 HP laptops and the printer I have, I will never purchase an HP product again and I am going to make sure everyone who asks me for a recommendation knows that HP is at the bottom of my list.  I also see it's impossible to contact HP unless I pay them for their time.  With those 2 factors in mind, they lost what would have been a customer for life.

I am going to purchase a new ASUS laptop for myself as they provide a solid product that I have never had an issue with, customer support is outstanding, plus you get more for your money.

My rant is over.
