HP 17.3 inch Laptop PC 17-cp0000 IDS Base Model

Even though the manual says it only accepts 8 gb memory modules it appears it actually accepts 16 gb memory sticks.  I have a total of 24 gb installed.  Has anyone installed more than 16 gb on this computer ?  Are there any issues I have not encountered. I did a complete memory test and it worked OK.

24GB = 16GB + 8GB Therefore you can replace 8GB using SAME existing 16GB to have 2 x 16GB = 32GB.
