According to your service manual (on page 2), your model only supports M.2 SSDs, not 2.5" SATA drives.

Maintenance and Service Guide

 

Page 44 of the manual shows all available cable connectors on the motherboard. As you see, there's no connector for 2.5" SATA drives. If your model doesn't have an optional fingerprint reader, connector #9 is unpopulated but cannot be used for a hard drive as it is designated for fingerprint reader only.

 

If you need more storage space, you will need to install an M.2 NVMe SSD with a larger capacity. 

 

Generally, M.2 NVMe SSDs have no size limit. You can install a 1 TB, 2 TB or more.
