Pavilion 14-ba078
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I don't know when this exactly happened, but one day when I got time to play a game after a long time, it failed to start. On checking the Device Manager, I realized that my Nvidia GeForce 940MX had a yellow exclamation mark. I downloaded and installed the latest drivers, but it didn't work. I then tried all the ways possible (as per Google) including DDU.

Failing to get a solution, I decided to back up my laptop, and restore to factory settings. I tried, but the restoration process failed every time after the first restart. So, I used the Advanced Startup option to reinstall Windows 10. That worked - only is restoring Windows, I still had the yellow exclamation mark on the Nvidia graphics card.

Does it seem like a hardware problem? What are my options if it is?

Please try to use latest drivers from the following link

   https://support.hp.com/au-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-pavilion-14-ba000-x360-convertible-pc/15551162

1. All chipset drivers, then reboot machine,

2. Intel video driver then reboot machine,

3. Nvidia driver then reboot machine

Regards.
