I am using an HP Pavillion G7 Notebook PC. It appears that I have an issue with my power bar or cord. It is producing a flashing light and is not charging the battery. I conducted the battery test and the battery checks out ok. Additionally, I have checked out the power bar and cord and there is no apparent damage or issue with the outlets in my home. I would like to feel comfortable that just getting a new power bar and cord will work effectively since I will no doubt be out of warranty and the power bar is expensive. Also, I need help figuring out how to find the order number so that I can be sure that I'm getting the right one. Any help is appreciated.

There are few generations of Pavillion G7. We need to know EXACTLY what is your machine. Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:

Please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n).
Regards.

Thanks for the rapid feedback Banhien! My product #: LZ881AV. My Model: g71-1100. Any thoughts on how to resolve? The battery is rapidly draining without getting a charge. As I mentioned, I ran the HP battery test and the battery checks out 'OK'.
