Good afternoon everybody maybe somebody could help me out I got a brand new HP laptop two in one very expensive and it has a little SD slot so I put my SD card in the slot and as I popped it in it went in fine but then it didn't read it!  So I to get out but what's really weird as I was trying to get it out! It went all the way into the computer slot somehow and you could see through like it just fell through the computer slot grazy it sounds! so I'm not sure how to get this out I had some really important stuff on that SD card which now is inside the computer brand new I don't know it was $1,500 and maybe even more so I appreciate anybody's help what to do thank you so much Rocky

Is it a microSD card slot ? It works similar as all normal SD card readers (same as on cameras ...) - push-push operation.

Please gently put it in again and release immediately, it won't jump out by itself, you have to use your fingers to pull it out.

HP laptop Spectre Evo I7 2-1 does not mean anything in terms of model/product. The best I can get is

          https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/hp-spectre-x360-evo-135-win-11-2in1-laptop-4x745pa

which is a series of HP Spectre x360 Convertible Laptop PC 14-ea1000 (446B7AV)

Your machine could be one of the following machines:

        https://support.hp.com/nz-en/product/hp-spectre-x360-14-convertible-pc-14-ea1000/2100800503/product-...

  Manual of the series:

           http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c08207157.pdf

which shows it has a reader at the right side

From your description, looks like it is a faulty reader, please contact HP directly to have it to be fixed
