My mouse worked fine. cahrge it, unplug. Worked.
Now it only works when plugged into a power lead (not into laptop - running off separate poer source). Works fine like this, but as soon as unplug it stops working, the lights go out etc.
Any ideas?

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Have you tried with different USB ports?
- Have you checked the Mouse with a different computer?
Keep me posted for further assistance.

The mouse is not plugged into the laptop, it is plugged into an independant power source - and works fine when it is fed power from any source. The mouse is connected to the laptop ivia bluetooth and the laptop indicated the mouse has 98% charge. But as soon as i unplug the mouse from power it disconnects and turns off - no light indicators and no buttons work etc.
Ive only had it since August 2020. Worked fine until last week.
