My camera is not working on my HP 17-cn2022na Laptop. The laptop is new and it worked at first but it stopped working. I have looked in settings and it is not disabled and in privacy I have allowed all apps to have access.
The error message coming up says - Your camera is reporting that it is blocked or turned off by a switch or button on your device. Please unblock it or turn the switch on to use it.
I can't see anything blocking the camera and I can't see a switch.

Try pressing the camera privacy key if you see that message. It's icon is on one of the F1-F12 keys. You may have to press the Fn key at the same time.

Take a look at the action keys . See the icons on the Function keys in the top row.

Invoke the Device Manager.
Type Dev in the search box and then click on the Device Manager application icon that appears above.
As you test the action keys, watch for the appearance of the Camera device in the list. When you see it appear, the camera should be on.
Try the action keys one at a time. Top row on the keyboard F1-F12.
Hold the Fn key down and tap the key to invoke its alternate function.
