Hello,
I opened my notebook today and plugged it in and then a notification showed up telling me that my adapter isn't working properly, after that I ran HP diagnostics on windows and the result was FAILED , Then I ran it in the UEFI but it passed??
This is just confusing me and the first prompt didn't appear again after a few restarts and disconnecting the charger multiple times. If the ac adapter is actually faulty is it a problem if i use another one? The "faulty" ac adapter had an output of:
19.5V 3.33A 65W
The new one has : 19.5V 2.35A 45W
Also if i use the new one will it slow down my computer? Because I use Boost Converter to speed up my notebook
Thanks!

HP Elitebook 820 G3 is a series of many different models/products. Your machine has 65W AC Adapter, probably you need a 65W for its configuration. 45W might be OK but it may not charge your machine when in use. Normally machine itself will tell you that is OK or not.
Regards.
