I accidentally dropped my notebook and found that afterwards the cooling fan made a weird whirring noise, then the fan just stopped completely and so the notebook overheats, now I don't use it anymore. Can someone give me a link to the correct replacement cooling fan and how to actually replace the fan. By the way, everything else works fine I think, it dropped on the cooling fan corner and the cooling fan is the only thing damaged from what I can see. Thank you.

Please use the last manual on the following link
You can find part number on page 27 and use that number to order from HP or Amazon or eBay. Page 90 shows you how to replace fan.
Regards.

Thank you for the response, sorry I got really busy since I made this post, just got back to thinking about fixing my laptop again.
There are 2 part numbers listed in the PDF, one for UMA memory and one for discrete memory, how do I know which one to use when trying to find a fan to order online?
Is there any software available which will tell me which type of memory my laptop has?
