I understand your PC running too hot. Let’s go through a few checks.

Check Airflow and Ventilation

• Make sure the computer is placed on a flat, hard surface.
• Keep all air vents clear of dust and obstructions.
• Maintain at least 10–15 cm space around the device.
• Avoid using the PC on beds, cushions, or laps.
• Confirm cooling fans are spinning normally.

Reduce System Load

• Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
• Select the Processes tab.
• Check for programs using high CPU or GPU.
• Close unnecessary applications.
• Restart the computer.

Clean Cooling Vents
CAUTION: Turn off the computer before cleaning.

• Shut down the PC and disconnect power.
• Use compressed air to clean air vents.
• Blow air in short bursts to remove dust.
• Hold the fan in place while cleaning if visible.
• Reconnect power and start the PC.

Adjust Power and Performance Settings

• Open Control Panel > Power Options.
• Select Balanced power plan.
• Open Change plan settings.
• Select Change advanced power settings.
• Set Processor power management > Maximum processor state to 95%.

Update BIOS and Drivers

• Open HP Support Assistant.
• Select Updates.
• Install available BIOS and thermal driver updates.
• Restart the computer.
• Monitor system temperature.
