An image is worth a thousand words.
Can you take a digital photo of what you are describing and post it here in your thread?
Is your laptop still in its free one year warranty period?

I tried taking photo of the screen. as it requires darkness to see the changes on the screen, i am not able to get a photo from my phone in darkness. the yellow colour is visible while switching on and shutting down. No, my laptop is not in its warranty period

If not in warranty, a replacement cost will be out of your own pocket.
If I may ask, just out of curiosity, how long have you had the laptop?
From what I see of the manuals, the laptop is about the five or six year mark.
It may be time for you to source a replacement, especially if you use it for work.
