Product: Hp 250 G6

Hi, I would just like to know if my HP 250 G6 laptop will support an NVMe SSD. It has an m.2 slot which is marked M2X3. Please could someone advise me. Thankyou

Hi:

 

Your notebook's M.2 slot only supports SATA SSD's not NVMe.

 

See chapter 1 of the service manual for the supported drive types...

 

HP 250 G6 Notebook PC Maintenance and Service Guide

 

The M2 X 3 is the size of the hole that is also near the description.

 

M2 = Metric 2 mm in diameter 3 = 3 mm long.
