Hi, I have a new x360m convertible tablet 14" (Model 14m-dh1003dx) and I've just purchased the HP 34f WQHD Curved Display monitor. I believe that I need to have be connected via display port 1.2 in order to utilize the AMD Freesync that comes with the monitor, so I need to purchase a docking station, as my laptop doesn't have a display port.
This is my first laptop and ultrawide monitor, so I could really use suggestions on the correct connection station to obtain.
P.S. my apologies if I've posted this on the wrong dashboard.
Much Appreciated,
Celeste

HI @CMaska
Actually, your notebook's video solution needs to be capable of AMD FreeSync for you to be able to use it. I will take a look at the specifications to see if that is the case and edit this reply to your thread after investigation it.
edit: The specifications show your notebook has Intel UHD graphics. That means that AMD FreeSynch is not going to be one of the capabilities that your notebook has.

The specifications show your notebook as having an HDMI port. You can use that port to connect to your new display via an HDMI cable that was delivered in the box. You won't need to purchase a dock
Intel UHD graphics- system on a chip integrated onto the processor die.
