I received the below email message. When I try to call [Edited]  but without an agent number it just disconnects. PLEASE provide me with a way to talk to someone regarding this repair.

 

We have received your product at our repair center and evaluated the problem. The service required to fix the issue is not covered by warranty either due to accidental damage or the warranty has expired. Details of your product and the price for service are as follows:

Model Number: B00J7AV

Model Description: BU ICTO UMA I5-1334U COPI 17-CN3

Service Status:: Accidental Damage (Damage picture attached if applicable)

Reason:: Accidental Damage

Price: $394.86 (includes taxes).

Options:

  • Please [Edited - link removed] to proceed with the repair. You will be taken to a secure HP website to enter your credit card information for payment. Once your credit card is authorized we will complete the repair. When your product is shipped back to you, your credit card will be charged the repair price plus applicable taxes.

If you have any additional questions about the billing process, please call us at Edited and wait on the line for the next available agent; we are available Monday to Friday from 7 A.M. to 7 P.M. (CT).

Unfortunately, there are no other actions we can take through this route. I recommend contacting our phone support for more assistance. 

 

This may necessitate a one-on-one conversation to resolve the issue via remote assistance. 

 

We recommend taking the conversation to our phone support team. They'll work with you one-on-one to get the issue sorted, possibly with some remote assistance magic. 

 

1) Click on this link—    https://support.hp.com/contact 

2) Add or select the product, and change/select your region. 

3) Enter the serial number of your device or select Let HP detect your product option. 

4) Choose "other" option from the list 

5) Select continue to contact option 

 

You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed. 

They will guide you further. 

 

Or, You may also visit the nearest HP authorized service center, the service team will check and assist you.

(Select the country from the dropdown menu and enter the city name or pincode)
