Need asap Conexant High defination Smart Audio AD2

Hi folks:  Kudos to severl folks whom have helped me, got my Ricoh drivers back MMC, mem. stick, Picture card  so 3 Controllers, that's really great, Huffer 7 Paul T.

But, had problems:  def. can\t utilize Vista drivers, 10 yrs. ago upgrade to Win H.7, x64bit.  Flash dr. in now so maybe I'm stabilising, I DNK yet.

 I did have a good sound connection, lost it in a problem, & likely a bad driver.

But, msft. says it ok, it's def.  NOT, no snd, media doesn't work, music player etc. i request pls:

Conexant H. Def. Smart Audio AD2.

HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_14F1&DEV_5045&SUBSYS-103C30CF&REV-1001.

It's in my C:programFiles\CONEXANT\CNXT_AUDIO_HDA\UIU61&.

Like I said, i had a good one, then lost it a couple of days, maybe my error I DNK.

it's so difficult, seeing the finest old, |HP Notebook, deteriorate  functions like this,  I'm not at the stage of dumping it, good vintage stuff I luv, but it's legacsy cat... now, no support.

So this is likely the last kick at the CAT, to keep it going, it's bee the BESt laptop ever.

I need the sound back for my sanity.

HI FB:  Were friends already, aside I a finest gardener..CA.  Sorry to disappoint you,  I have gotten my  Conexant driver, it disappeared, came back a couple of times,  you know better,  I uninstalled it, really good instructions herein fnd. them, did it, ok now in D.mgr.-ok.

But, alas, in spite of the best Paul K., he sent me drivers at the onset of this personal saga, for the 2&2,  PCI  & a deuce of Unk dev.   I cldn't some reason i DNK cldn't install them.

12 yrs. this fab. HP note..a dv9500, at onset Viosat, upgraded to Win. Hp., sp2, with 64 bit  O/S.

The rear says:  above the wnty. tag  dv9612CA,  surely not the west CA, but only in north CA..canada eh.

SO:  Pavillion, even said 9000.

i/WE know it's in the legasy cat., & drivers not easily found, provided, according to provost Huffer.

I'd def. rcvd. some Vista drivers, have them all on my notebook.

I have gotten back my MMC slot for came add's pics. so that's super.

My earlier on  mos. ago CDDVd...it seem'd to burn out, speed like crazy when closed w/o a cd...until it appeared to burn out, cest las lie. I guess.

Not even indicated in my D. mgr., so/but i def. do not know if itwas added, before after with HP,  it is all in the recall:::  Entertainment mdl.

Oddly, I can play   NOW   my  CD Player, but only  Library  Music on hand.  i def. do not like opening the CD box w/a pin, doesn't operate..anyway.

i bought a external CD player, ie: if I had to run my 2 HP recovery discs, + the 2 Msft. [vendor] provided, best Buy pont of purchase, 12/23/10, to restore the Notebook.

Maybe it was Huffer ind. the PCI reviewer might not be recognizing the PCI  [4] to no avil i tried renew that driver didn't work.

SO, I am thankful for the 2 add's items ment., the snd/pic card being ok.

What;  \if anything' can I/WE do to save my  4 PCI, so sadly neg. there with the yellow caution tri-bxs.

Bec. of the vintage, &I can't spend my lifetime svcg. this lovely 15 ", 10lb. FAB. old Notebook, natch I'm using it sparinging, always have, merely for my pics, bit of emailing ie:: upstairs on wireless, & sports blogging, no games etc, heavy usage.

Bit it wld. be fab, if you cld. get me on track re the PCI's.

That's it guy.  I have now seem's forever, come into  HP  forums, a fab. source of technical info,  had many Cdn. friends/neighbours  wkg. for earlier on  IBM, a great Industry.

HP  is  the  BEST, right.

ATT:  Jeet Singh:  Many Thanx for a reasonable response, it's NOT unlike a lot of super guy's have NOT given me great advice, on the contrary.  It's just been more of a 'moving target onset problem', like several, 1 old the cdplyr...that likely is structural but I def. DNK.

The thrice ment... Conexant  aspect, ystrday.. I responsed to flower-bud...sincere concern....that low behold, it resolved itself.

I fnd. a general HP sol..  extremely well written, re uninstall 'IT',  &  reboot, & it the Conexant... ment. herein, resolved itself.  It may have been resolved by my 'restore' method, it doesn't matter, it 'done now', quite thankful

The same with the MMC, slot for pictures,  that might have been resolved by  P.  Tikkens, host of drivers, earlier on or Provost.........offer of a driver I tried, my pics aspect works now.

But, the basic underlying main problem:  Remains,  the [4]  PCI - in D.Mgr. yellow !tag, not wkg., rather 2+2, 2 Unk Dev. 

Is  now my final  main concern.

Your responding, but before Flower_Bud, wld. have had even a 24 hr. opportunity.

It's like this eh:   What a beauty of a Notebook, a vintage  HP  lg/heavy laptop, is stationary upstairs, for odd usage, a luxury indeed,  merely incredible, I move it to the R/R of'c, seldom...&connect it for faster use...now to my new...Fibre, my ISP - Bell, in this local, all but a week.

i sort of refuse to bury the thing, not a scratch on it, it's ok, for mod use, pictures - garden/sports, & offset emails, some sports blog....terriffic for that a backup.

 don't wish to buy a new cdplayer, it was the 'entertainment mdl', so it came with it, the sound is ok for awhile, it cost $1k or so,  bith Intel/Amd.  

Shortly, I'll know better about the PCI.

 It is 64bit, near as I know. i have  the bbrochures label etc. p/n:  Mdl:  GS763UA#ABC.  Vista Home Prem OEM.   svrc. tag: was - dv9612ca.   12/23/10.   ON  AMD- Turion, 64x2 Mob., 1.90GHZ.  TL-58., 2.00ram,  64-bit O/S.  No pen.  SP1.  Win's  reg. update.,  my ISP...&  I clean mthly... srvc.
