Hi,

There is an empty slot on the mainboard of my notebook.

This is it.This is it.

I suspect it is M.2 with M-key turned upside-sown. But I'm completly unfamiliar with SSDs.

So the question is - is it really it?

What types of SSDs are compatible with it - only M-key or B/M too?

There is some controversy around this model - there is no info that it is possible to upgrade and on one website HP sale official replyed to other user's question that there is no slot to upgrage.

Could it be that this slot is present but unfunctional?

Really don't want to buy SSD and end up being unbable to use it. Hope someone could clarify that. Thanks.

And yes on some models they did not solder the slot to the system board. "It's just blank."

But it looks like you have it.
