Anytime.
Glad to have been of assistance.
I have that card in 2 of my HP business desktop PC's...the dc7800 CMT and an 8200 Elite CMT (3 models newer than the dc7900).
One thing of importance since you are going with that card...it has an HDMI port.
On my dc7800, when I installed the card, the onboard sound quit working. I don't know if that will happen on the dc7900.
It didn't on my 8200 Elite.
However, if the onboard sound quits working after you install the card, the fix is simple.
Why it happened...the BIOS on the dc7800 is old and doesn't take into account the new HDMI technology.
So the BIOS thinks not only was a video card installed, but there was also an audio card installed (because there is an audio chip on the video card board that controls the hdmi audio).
Therefore, the BIOS not only disables the onboard video, but it also disables the onboard audio.
After you install the video card, and if you discover the onboard sound is not working anymore, restart the PC, tap the F10 key at the HP welcome screen to get into the BIOS.
Go to the advanced menu>device options and find the onboard audio setting. It will be set to disabled. Change the setting to Enabled. Save the setting there, and again when you exit the BIOS.
After you restart the PC, the onboard audio will be back.
You have a great day too!
