Need help in installing a new SSD

I bought a HP Omen 15 with 512 GB nvme memory. But it has an empty SATA slot. So, I bought a SATA SSD, my question is will my laptop include the brackets and the SATA cable or should that be purchased? Thanks

Wait til you get it then open the back. For this model the removal of the back cover is fully authorized. Pavilion and Spectre models for sure will have no 2.5 inch mounting bracket or cable but some of the Omens have that equipment even if the laptop sold with M.2 only.

Unfortunately this part is very hard to locate. HP Parts Store and my usual sources do not have it
