HP Pavilion - 15-cs0012cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am planning on using the RAM from this computer for a desktop. To know what motherboard is compatible, I need more information about the RAM. Right now, the only information I have is that it is 12 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (1 x 4 GB, 1 x 8 GB).

I need to know the DIMM pins and any other information that would help my search. Also, I wanted to know if anyone has recommendations about what motherboard would work with this RAM.

Thanks in advance.

No, notebooks/laptops and desktops use different RAM, they won't PHYSICALLY fit.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. Would using the notebook's CPU in the desktop I want to build work? Or would that not fit either?
