HP ENVY x360 - 15m-dr0012dx

I'm having trouble finding correct battery for this computer. I took it to Best Buy and they said battery was swollen and no longer any good. They do not have batteries there so they provided a spec sheet on a battery. That battery does not fit my computer. I have done a lengthy search for the correct battery but because Best Buy kept my old battery I do not have any information directly from the battery itself. I was told the serial number would identify the battery I need but can find no source that identifies the battery.

Can anyone help me?

This is the part I ordered already it does not fit in my computer. Thank you for the information but this was the battery that was recommended by Best Buy. When I tried to put it in the screws don't line up, the unit it's self doesn't fit in the space and the the plug into the computer doesn't match   (The plug in to the computer should be on a lead wire with a female end).

Thank you for trying to help.

I have never had the HP PartSurfer fail me to date. Please bear with me and verify  that the part number on the one you tried to install is identical to the one in the following Hyperlink.

The Illustrated parts list for your notebook also shows that battery part number.

For the future: Insist that anyone working on your notebook besides yourself return the old parts to you.

If you provide the product number (AKA ProdID)  I will be able to do a deeper dive into the resources for your notebook.

When logged into Windows, hold down the Windows key and tap the R key to invoke the system information dialogue.
Type in msinfo32 and press enter.
The ninth line is the SKU and the HP product number. Kindly post it in your next reply in your thread.
An alternative method:
Take a look at the bottom of the notebook among the tiny letters and locate the ProdID.
The ProdID will enable us to determine the hardware configuration of your notebook.
