HP Spectre x360 - 15-ch011dx
Microsoft Windows 11

I the "SPS-Screw Kit Baystars 1" from HP. Bar code=L15597-001 which I believe contains the screws used in my laptop. The screws are of course very small, and contained in individual packages. How can I identify the screws used to hold the replacement battery in place?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Megumby

Hi @MeGumby,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To identify the mounting screws for your HP Spectre X360, you can follow these steps.

  • Turn off your HP Spectre X360 and disconnect any cables or peripherals.
  • Flip your HP Spectre X360 over and place it on a soft, clean surface.
  • Locate the screws on the bottom cover of your HP Spectre X360.
  • Examine the screw heads to determine the type and size of the screws.
  • Refer to the user manual or maintenance guide for your HP Spectre X360 to identify the exact screw specifications.
  • If you don't have access to the user manual or maintenance guide, you can try searching for it online using your HP Spectre X360's model number.
  • Once you have identified the screw specifications, you can purchase the appropriate screws from a hardware store or online retailer.
  • Note: Be careful when removing and installing screws on your HP Spectre X360, and make sure to use the correct tools to avoid damaging the screws or your device.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
