Hi
I had some battery issues and in a move of extreme brilliance, I de-installed the Microsoft ACPI Compliant Method Battery Control driver in the window 7 device manager.
Upon reboot it did not re-install. This is a huge pain and I seem unable to find a way of getting it re-installed.
When I do "scan for hardware changes" windows starts "Installing device driver software" but it unable to find this driver. It comes up with "Unidentified Device"
I would be VERY happy to download and manually install this again. Right now the battery seems to work but I have NO idea how much charge it has... and I can't turn it on in the Notification Center. The "Power" option is grey'ed out in the systems options.
Any advise or help would be most greatly appreciated!
Ian
