OMEN by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop 16-n0000 (5B1T7AV)

Hii Team,

I hope everyone is having a great day. I have recently bought an HP Omen 16-n0079AX.

I want to upgrade my SSD and ram hence requesting your help to provide the compatible SSD and ram for this laptop.

Current ram is 2x8gb (16gb ddr5 ram), 512 SSD. Would like to upgrade to 2x16 GB ram and 1 TB or more storage for SSD.

Also, I want to know what is the max storage and ram upgrade for this laptop?.

Sorry for the trouble. I really appreciate any help you can provide.

Hi:

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)

Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade info and NVMe drive capacities HP offered in the model series.

Your notebook can support 2 x 16 GB of DDR5-4800 memory and HP offered NVMe SSD's up to 1 TB in storage capacity, so you should be able to perform the upgrades you want.

It also appears that your notebook has an empty NVMe SSD slot for a second drive, because if you look at the motherboard illustration in chapter 6 on page 38, it shows an NVMe SSD on each side of the notebook below each fan.
