I bought HP 15-fd1010TU laptop a few weeks ago and am planning to upgrade the SSD to 2TB. Does it use a gen3 or a gen4 SSD?

@Yasir_Amin,

The service manual (on page 19) indicates that M.2 PCIe 4x4 2280 SSDs are supported.

M.2 NVMe SSDs have no capacity limit. If you want a 2 TB SSD, you can replace the current 512 GB drive with a 2 TB NVMe gen4 SSD.

The manual shows an M.2 SSD replacement procedure on page 44.
