The keyboard on my 15-eg1xxx Pavilion laptop has some issues that can't be fixed by popping keys off and on again.
I already have a replacement keyboard but I have not been able to find proper instructions for how to replace it in the laptop.
I found this official video which has instructions for replacing all the other parts but, despite having a segment labeled "Display Panel Assembly/Top Cover with Keyboard", it does NOT have instructions for replacing the keyboard itself. That segment is about replacing the display assembly
(Please do not blindly link me to that same video as I've stated it does not have the needed instructions. Thanks!)

According to the service manual, after you disassemble the entire notebook the only part that remains is the top cover/keyboard.
Chapter 5, page 58.
Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)
The keyboard is an integral part of the top cover.
Top cover with keyboard
The top cover with keyboard remains after removing all other spare parts from the computer.
In this section, the first table provides the main spare part number for the top cover/keyboards.

I read your reply and followed the link and none of this details how to remove and replace the keyboard as it's attached to the top cover.
Every video I've seen on youtube of people showing how to replace the keyboard in a Pavilion Laptop 15 series (not this same model though) indicates there are plastic "rivets" that have been melted and need to be removed with a bladed tool to remove the keyboard, then the plastic rivets need melted again upon replacement.
Is that how it works with the 15-eg1000?

I'll repeat what I wrote last night...The keyboard is an integral part of the top cover.
In other words, it is not meant to be separated from the top cover, and the keyboard itself not available as a separate purchase.
Look at the service manual: Pages 58 and 59...there are multiple keyboard/top cover part numbers based on different factors.
You have to order the entire assembly...top cover with keyboard.
