This package provides the driver that enable Intel Collaborative Processor Performance Control (CPPC) in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. CPPC reduces active power to deliver improved battery life and allows the system to reach deeper lower power states.

Here is a partial copy and paste of the driver setup information file which shows driver support for the hardware ID you posted...

 

[Manufacturer]
%Mfg% = IntelDevice, NTamd64.6.2, NTamd64

%INTELPCC.DeviceDesc% = IntelHSWPcc,ACPI\INT340F
