HP Laptop 15-dw3003ni
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi. I bought a new HP laptop a few months ago and from day one it has been extremely slow and laggy. Below are the specs for the laptop

- Model: HP Laptop 15-dw3003ni

- 8GB RAM

- 512 GB SSD

- 1135G7 Processor

These are decent specs so the slowness is doesn't make sense to me. I barely use the laptop, and have installed less than 5 programs. I have disabled some startup programs to try and speed it up, and have uninstalled anything that looks like bloatware. I installed TotalAV to scan for viruses but nothing. Today I upgraded to Windows 11 and it improved a bit, but still far too slow for a new, well-spec'd laptop that is hardly used, especially when I am accessing the internet (my internet speed is fine). Please help!

if you mean slow pc on the internet you need firs to try with other brwoser like Firefox AND check if any changes.

in addition, ifyou have any firewall or antivirus please disable and check

Hit ctrl-alt-del and open task manager and then the startup tab. What is the "last BIOS time" listed? That is how long it takes to start booting from the hard drive/SSD and can pinpoint problems with the hardware.
