Hii, so I shifted from Dell to HP laptop recently and the sound through earphone sounded bad to me so I kept trying to reinstall/deleting drivers only to remember that my old DELL laptop had Waves MaxxAudio installed which I configured at some point to my liking. Now I dont know if normal sound is suppose to better or not but I got used to Waves Maxx one.
So i just wanted to know if there is anyway to get Waves MaxxAudio in HP Laptop or your in general advice regarding sounds/Audio. Should I use this or no?

Hi @sugrama5,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I am sorry to hear that you facing issues with the Audio and would like to check if you can use Waves MaxxAudio installed on your Dell Laptop.

Update Driver through Device Manager:

  • Right-click on the Start Menu and select Device Manager.
  • Find Sound, video and game controllers, expand this and right-click on your audio device (likely labeled Realtek).
  • Select Update driver.
  • Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.

Run UEFI hardware.

  •  Make sure the mute key is off and increase the volume.
  •  request the cx to use an alternative headset with  and check if it's working.
  •  Go to UEFI  {F2}
  •   component test
  •  Click on audio
  •  Click on audio playback test
  •  Click on run once.

I hope this helps,

Take care and have an amazing day!
