Product: Notebook 15-f387wm
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Our hard drive recently failed and we were looking for replacements on amazon. We found one but we are not sure if it will be compatible with this type of laptop. Does anyone know if this hard drive will work with our laptop?

Hi Wendy,

 

I would give it a go. The SSD in built into the hard drive and is used for caching.  The hybrid drive is faster than a normal hard drive but not as fast as a SSD. It's a cost trade off although SSDs have been dropping in price.
