Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My new hp pavillion laptop is draining the battery as one percent one minute. I bought it on dushera and still it is having the issue . Iam so disappointed . I gone to service center even , they said for 15-20 days it will be like that.  I have waited for  long days . I don't know how to raise a complaint . I need a solution for this .

So you are getting 2 hours run time now or somewhere near that?

Hi, Which Pavillion is this? I bought a new HP Pavillion 14 Inch Ryzen 5500U and have been struggling to use it. The battery does not last more then 2 hours, and it drains 10% per hour in sleep mode!. So basically don't have the sleep mode option in the laptop only. I got the retailer to replace the piece and the problem still persists, so the issue is likely in the bios/drivers. Unfortunetly HP support has not been much help here.

Worst purchase decision I Made.

Yea, I have the same model.  The laptop is completely not usable. I even got the retailer to replace the piece and the same problem persists. The battery does not last more than 2 hours with screen brightness set to low, and the sleep mode is not usable since the battery uses 10% an hour and overheats. I've tried everything (upgrading drivers, reinstalling windows, running battery calibration multiple times) and the problem still persists.

HP support is not really helping, they just want to close the case every time, and I'm at my wit's end with what to do.

What BIOS version are using? Windows forced an update to F.07 as soon as the laptop started, and I'm wondering if that version is causing the problem.

Guys, if anyone else is facing the same problem with this model please comment here.

Look at the sleep report 8% drained in 30 minutes. Yet HP support tells me everything is fine! If there are more people having this problem please comment here, hopefully we can do something than.

Yeah , I really feel very bad and I feel it very bad decision I ever made.  I was using a Dell before and now I thought hp would have a quality battery back up.  They must be answerable for this.  Iam so disappointed towards my decision and product.

While buying the laptop they said it would stand around 5-6 hours because it is a three cell battery and now I'm saying the same issue for one month and the technician is replying like for 15-20 days it will be like that but it's been one month hardly.  If the issue continue we all should go to consumer court I think

Yes, I have the same issue. Did you find any root cause or any help ?
