I am having a troubling amount of difficulty trying to disable the touchpad on my laptop. I've gone all the obvious routes about doing it, updated till I can't update anymore, updated drivers, Googled, YouTubed, nothing. Main issue I'm seeing is when I open the additional settings for my touchpad, there is no option to disable it.

This is very frustrating, as I'm learning to program, and sometimes inadvertently tap the touchpad, and throws off the code and my concentration. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
